USDA REDI Program Award
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development office is the sponsor for Rural Economic Development Initiative (REDI) programs offering opportunities for eligible partners to expand capacity for small and rural towns to harness regional assets, create economic development plans, and implement those plans. The Town of Wheatland and surrounding area is part of a network of Genesee Valley Region communities that have received a REDI program award for the development of an actionable economic development plan.
