Mumford Self-Guided Tour
The GWA Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host content for a 3.5 mile self-guided tour around the Hamlet of Mumford. The Hamlet of Mumford is a quaint community located in the Western part of the Town of Wheatland with a distinctly small-town atmosphere supporting a combination of residences and local businesses. Mumford was named for the Mumford family that arrived in the area around 1813.
The tour described below includes historical homes, buildings such as the Mumford First Baptist Church built in 1852 and several other points of interest.
