Where is the Greater Wheatland Area Located?
The region served by the Greater Wheatland Area Chamber of Commerce is located in the western portion of New York State across the southwestern part of Monroe County and the adjacent northeast part of Livingston County. Refer to a general map of the region.
The Town of Wheatland is located in southwestern Monroe County, where the eastern boundary of the Town is formed by the Genesee River and the borders with the Towns of Henrietta and Rush. The southern boundary of the Town is formed by the border between Monroe and Livingston counties, which is the same as the border with the Town of Caledonia. The western boundary of the Town is formed by the border with the Town of Leroy. The northern boundary for the Town is formed by the border with the Towns of Riga and Chili.
The Town of Caledonia is located in northeastern Livingston County, where the eastern boundary of the Town is formed by the Genesee River and the borders with the Towns of Rush and Avon. The northern boundary of the Town is formed by the border between Livingston and Monroe counties, which is the same as the border with the Town of Wheatland. The western boundary of the Town is formed by the border between Livingston and Genesee counties, which is the same border with the Town of Le Roy. The southern border of the Town is formed by the border with the Town of York.
