Jim Musshafen - 2022 Volunteer of Distinction

Jim Musshafen - Volunteer of Distinction

Congratulations to Jim Musshafen on selection as a Wheatland Community Hall of Fame Volunteer of Distinction for 2022. The GWA Chamber of Commerce is proud to be the sponsoring organization for the Wheatland Community Hall of Fame, which includes recognition associated with community volunteerism. A Volunteer of Distinction is someone who freely gives time, effort and talent to a community need, cause or organization without compensation while making positive contributions through demonstrated excellence as a volunteer in support of the Wheatland Community.

Jim recently received a certificate recognizing his selection as a Volunteer of Distinction, presented by Shanna Fraser, a member of the GWA Chamber of Commerce "Salute to Excellence" Committee. Jim is also recognized along with all other Wheatland Community Volunteers of Distinction on an honor roll prominently displayed in the Wheatland Municipal Building and on the GWA Chamber of Commerce website.

Jim is a long-time volunteer in support of the Wheatland Community, across multiple endeavors where he has demonstrated excellence through sustained and positive impacts. Jim has been an elected volunteer trustee of the Wheatland-Chili School System Board of Education for many years, helping to provide community-oriented leadership for the local school system, including holding the office of President of the School Board. Among his other Community volunteering activities, Jim was an active volunteer member of the Scottsville Lions Club and a volunteer member of the Parish Council for the St. Mary of the Assumption Parish for several years.
