The “Town of Wheatland, Village of Scottsville Comprehensive Plan” serves as a blueprint for the long-range protection, enhancement, growth and development of the Town of Wheatland and Village of Scottsville. This plan establishes the official land use policy for these communities in accordance with a community vision, associated goals and objectives for a 20-year period into the future. This plan guides official decision-making such as zoning regulations.

The Village of Scottsville has formed a Village Comprehensive Plan Update Committee to review and develop plan updates related to the Village municipality in cooperation with the Town of Wheatland. The perspectives of businesses located within the Village are an important input for this planning process. The GWA Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a forum to facilitate discussion for Village of Scottsville businesses to provide input for the Committee.
